Maria de Lurdes is an awesome data analyst. She supported our research projects with very much needed data expertise and also supported us in running quantitative studies, from choosing the right methodology, designing surveys, to analyzing data sets and drawing conclusions.

Lurdes was my Professor in my BSc and MSc degrees. Lurdes is one of those people we want to be when we grow up! When I met her I immediately realized that I was in the presence of someone very special. Very committed and focused, successfully, and effectively accomplishing all the objectives she sets out to fulfill. She always wants to do more and better, always wants to learn more. Lurdes is a very complete professional, but even so, she is always concerned with acquiring new skills and more knowledge in order to become even better.

For me, Lurdes will always be one of the most far-reaching and profound social scientist I know. Adding to that, the ability to be highly competitive, strong, focused, direct, structured... and always a Woman, is truly an inspiration!

Professor Lurdes was always one of the most friendly and attentive professors, always available to students. The way she taught classes was so captivating that I always wanted to learn more. When I left ISCSP I continued to follow her on her social networks and I even worked with her on a project she had. Always professional and approachable, Professor Lurdes is an inspiring person and a force of nature who makes us think that we can do anything.
